Known as the national dessert of Pakistan, these fried milk dough delights are a favorite all over the Middle East, Asia, and beyond. Traditionally made using milk solids, we are using milk powder to get the desired effect. Soaked for 2 hours in scented syrup using traditional flavors such as orange blossom water, saffron, and cardamom these fried treats are sure to please. Celebrate Ramadan by offering these to guests and don’t forget World Gulab Jamun Day on the 10th of October every year.
What’s in your kit?
Milk Powder, All Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Ghee, Milk, Granulated Sugar, Cardamom pods, Lemon Juice, Orange Blossom Water, Saffron, Vegetable Oil for frying.

Tools needed: 2 cups water, mixing bowl, 2 medium saucepans, wooden spoon, fork.
Protip: Use a frying / candy thermometer to keep your oil at the perfect Gulab frying lower temperature of 300℉.
