BāKIT Box is a globally-inspired STEM baking kit that brings the world to your kitchen. Each box includes pre-measured ingredients, a detailed recipe guide, and hands-on STEM activities that explore the science, culture, and geography behind a treat from a different part of the world. Designed for kids and families, it turns baking together into a fun, educational adventure; no measuring, planning, or prep required.

BāKIT Box is an approved educational vendor in various states, which means you can use your ESA or homeschool scholarship funds to purchase our Homeschool products. See what programs are approved on our Homeschool menu tab.
We work with programs including Step Up For Students (Florida), TEFA (Texas), BrainTree (North Dakota and Oklahoma), and more. Orders placed through scholarship programs are approved by your program administrator before they're processed. Check with your specific program for details on eligible purchases, or email info@bakitbox.com and we'll help you figure out if your funds apply.

Both Homeschool Bundles and Subscriptions include the same educational materials, pre-measured ingredients, and recipes — the difference is how you buy them.
Homeschool Bundles can be purchased through grant and scholarship programs; these orders must be approved by your grant program before they're processed.
Subscriptions are purchased on our website via credit card and renew automatically, charged quarterly or annually.
BāKIT Box is designed for kids ages 5–12, with an experience that grows with your child. Younger bakers (5–7) build fine motor skills, counting, and confidence as they measure, pour, mix, and decorate. In the middle years (8–10), kids strengthen reading comprehension, sequencing, and early math as they follow recipes more independently and dig into the science behind each step. Older kids (11–12) can take the lead in the kitchen, developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and cultural curiosity through the STEM activities and global stories in every box. And because baking is hands-on and shared, kids at every age build patience, focus, and pride in creating something themselves.
Every BāKIT Box is built around STEM where kids explore the science of baking, measurement and math, and hands-on experimentation with art, language, geography, and culture woven throughout. As they bake, kids learn about the country or region behind each recipe, discover new vocabulary, express creativity through decorating, and connect with traditions from around the world. It's a full cross-curricular experience disguised as a delicious baking project.
Each BāKIT Box includes multiple recipes and a full activity guide that delivers 2–3 hours of educational time. Between the hands-on baking, STEM activities, and cultural exploration, one box can easily anchor a full learning day — or be spread across several shorter sessions throughout the week.
We recommend 1 kit per 2–3 students so every child has hands-on tasks throughout the experience. Our kits are designed for ages 5–12, and kids at different ages naturally get different things out of the same box: younger children build fine motor skills through mixing and decorating, while older kids take the lead on reading recipes, measuring, and digging into the science. Baking together is part of the magic.
We currently offer a gluten-free option, though please note our kits are not certified gluten-free. All of our kits ask you to provide your own dairy and eggs (like milk, butter, or cream cheese), which means you can easily swap in your preferred dairy-free alternatives. Our recipes change quarterly, so keep checking back — there's likely a box that works for your family. You can purchase individual boxes or a recurring subscription on our website. For families using ESA or scholarship funds, we offer a 12-Kit Homeschool Baking Program — a full year of product and content, delivered quarterly. You'll receive 3 kits every 3 months, for a total of 12 kits over the year.

We ship across the continental USA, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Shipping rates will vary based on your location.
We ship with different delivery partners based on your location. All orders over $50 receive free shipping across the continental USA.
If ordering online, customers have the option of Ground or 2nd Day Air shipping options. All shipments will be processed and shipped with 3 business days.
You will receive an email confirmation after purchase with the shipping information and tracking number.
If ordering through a homeschool grant program, prefixed shipping rates apply.
Our Bake & Explore subscription is a quarterly box. You can sign up for either a one-time purchase, no commitment necessary, or you can subscribe and receive a new themed box every quarter.
You can subscribe quarterly and pay each quarter, or you can prepay for a full year and receive shipments every 3 months.

By subscribing, you will receive a new themed box every quarter including three different recipes. Each box takes you on a thrilling, themed journey around the world. Subscribing allows you to explore more countries and flavors with us plus up to $60 in savings per year!
We totally understand that life can get busy! If you are looking to skip a month, you can log into your account, click on “Subscriptions” and then you will see options to skip the next month’s box.
Subscribers can cancel anytime! If you pre-paid for your subscription, we will not be able to cancel the next shipments, but we would be happy to help you make arrangements to ship them elsewhere if needed.

- After you accept delivery of a Product from us, if you are not 100% satisfied with the Product (because it is defective or otherwise), you may request a refund within seven days of delivery by sending an email to info@bakitbox.com. If part of a Product is defective, we reserve the right to decide in our discretion whether we will provide you with (A) a refund in an amount equal to the value of the defective portion(s) or (B) a full refund in an amount equal to the full value of the Product.
- If you refuse delivery of a Product from us for any reason, we will notify you within a reasonable period of time whether you are entitled to a refund (and, if so, the amount) by phone or email. If we determine that you are entitled to a refund, we will process such refund within 30 days of communicating our decision to you.
- We usually provide refunds using the same method that you used to pay for your purchase and the credit will process within 3-5 business days or according to your bank policies.
All of our baking kits are shelf stable, and that means that you do not need to refrigerate any of the items! Typically each kit will last 12-18 months.
Each quarterly box contains 3 themed baking kits, complete with step-by-step instructions, pre-measured ingredients, and engaging games and activities. Let your little chefs explore a world of flavors and cultures.

If your box arrives damaged, please contact us right away at info@bakitbox.com with a photo of the damage and your order number. We'll send a replacement at no cost to you; no need to return the damaged item.

We're committed to tackling packaging waste; we use packaging that is recyclable or reusable. Here are some tips on how to recycle your packaging:
Shipping Box and Cartons - All of the BāKIT Boxes are made from partially recycled cardboard and are curbside recyclable. Reuse your shipping box for additional activities with the kiddos before recycling. Some tips include coloring in the icons and tracing the letters in each different language!
Packing Peanuts - These are made of static-free organic starch and are water dissolvable. Pour them in the sink, turn on the tap, and watch them wash away. They leave no toxic waste and are FDA compliant!
Produce Bags - The kit and ingredient bags can be reused or recycled at all locations that accept plastic bags.
Recipe Books - Recipe books are designed to be kept for your future bāking needs! They can also be recycled.
